FINDING “WEAK POINTS”
There are things that sometimes we cannot know from the beginning, only until time passes with experience do we understand that it belongs to us and that it is also us.
Throughout the development history of lacquer craft, I have always seen and tried to perfect the material in my mind. I always find ways to exploit the “weaknesses” of the material and turn it, promote it into my strengths. It is also my difference, the tough road that no one chooses, sometimes like slamming head in stone.
I would also like to say one thing – Before I had ever used lacquer to describe fog, describe clouds, or the humidity of air, a space without appearance and light as steam. . This alone has taken me more than 10 years of creative research into expression. The pain of the profession, the questions posed for the goals, the goals that I set out as each step of the career limits that I have to overcome.
Nostalgia, memories as interwoven images, whispering tells stories somewhere like we’ve encountered on life’s journey. It was as familiar but never seen as looming, hidden behind dreams. Memories, subconscious, vestiges or nostalgia of time in nature as sounds of silence whisper their name by emotion fostering the elusive dreaminess of a dreamy space.
A Fairy domain – A space of Bong lai.
And in so many paths there is – I have found a way of my own.
I have chosen a career and a career has also chosen me.
Lacquer – Huy Lacquer.
