PRESS RELEASE ABOUT THE SCULPTURAL “PORTRAIT OF TA QUANG BAO ARTIST ” EXHIBITION
Lunet Art is a curatorial and consulting artistic investment organization. In particular, the Lunet Art Galerie is a space for displaying and honoring non-profit artworks, with the mission to promote the development of arts in the same direction with the Cultural flow, to preserve the characteristic beauty and quintessence of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
On 25th December, 2019, Lunet Art is opening a sculptural art exhibition with the theme “Portrait of the Artist – Sculptor: Ta Quang Bao” in honor of the great artist who has contributed to the country’s fine arts.
Sculptor Ta Quang Bao was born in 1941 in Thanh Hoa province. He was once an artist – a revolutionary soldier. During the war as well as in peacetime, he constantly worked with arts and created many great works such as monuments and phenomenal sculptures. He has won many noble awards such as:
In 2001, he was awarded the State Prize for Arts and Literature for these works: The “Friendship of Vietnam – Laos” monument, the “Buon Me Thuot Cemetery” monument, the “Victory of Xuan Trach (Autumn and Winter 1947 – Vinh Phuc)” monument, the “Victory of Nha Trang ” monument.
In 2017, he was awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize for Literature and Arts for two works: the monument of “Victory of Que Son” and the “Victory of the Lo River”.
In honor of the artist who has devoted all his life, Lunet Art gladly holds the “Portrait of Artist – Sculptor Ta Quang Bao” exhibition. Lunet Art also wishes to share the beautiful and unique sculptures of sculptor Ta Quang Bao with the community of Vietnamese Fine Arts lovers.
