Contemporary art and art values need to be conserved

Contemporary Art and Modern Art as the concept of the development stage of the art, it is marked by creativity, a break in the way of thinking of classical art.

Modern art, often associated with the 1860s and 1970s, all artworks in this period seek new expressions to escape the classical and traditional traditions. The works began to represent free, revolutionary expressions of thought from within the artist,

Contemporary art, along with the development of science, technology, self-expression, and the development of personal ego are very high. Contemporary art is the stage to promote the diversity and challenge in expressing works with a diverse combination of materials, methods, and diversity in approaches.

Contemporary art is often seen as a fertile ground for the development of creative freedom, self-expression, the artist’s ego, or the ego pushes to the height of the freedom of liberation, but can also be a link and draw the viewer into a part of the work. A new creative way in the relationship “art form – creative mind – interactive public” is experienced in contemporary art.

The Value of Art  and the core wires need conservation

Pablo Picasso “Head of a Woman” (Farnande Oliver) – 1909 – Bronze

This painting does not draw in nature, does not use realistic writing. The sculpture  is a concept of the author, showing how Picasso looked about his Poetry character, he took it by himself and reflected his thinking through the presentation of this work. From the natural shape absorbed into Picasso’s mind and it is deformed to express outward with the artist’s own attitude, emotion, and imagination to evoke the imagination of the viewers about the his Poetry – “a woman lovely in Picasso style” is very special and different in other normally person.

So, the realism that Picasso brings to be a double reality:

Firstly, it is the physical reality of the subject which the sensory person can arouse and the imagination of the artist wants to arouse the mind – it goes beyond the authenticity of the pure appearance. Realizing perception of externalities is generalized and improved them by its core structure and shape.

Secondly, the artist themself modified the basic structure and shape to be able to convey the spirit, emotions, thoughts and intellect, the senses of the artist themselves with a work of art is the expression of the author’s ego on two aspects, the aspect of expression and the aspect of interior.

When njoying an artwork, we recognize shapes that have harmonious proportions of blocks, shapes, colors, changes in materials, contrasts in light usage, individual (visual) melodies of each artwork. From that, it can be illustrated that a work of art, always has the most convincing display of shaping, in other words, it is formative rhetoric.

But besides that, the persuasive power of a piece of art is revealed something about the author’s own mind – that is eloquence of the author’s psychological state and thinking.

After all, at any stage of art, we realize that:

The most basic thing for a artwork is the external appearance of the work (forming structure), which is still the shaped structure with original, biological and basic shapes. For example, Picasso did not draw a surrealist toad, but he did it in a rhythmic way that evokes imagination, but still depicts the toad with signs that have been inherited naturally from thousands of times.

In addition to the visual structure, the value that makes the art of a work, is the evocative thinking that leads people into the world of imagination, creative consciousness, the depth of the artist’s own thinking. And the persuasion of a work of art is the persuasion of the world with the mind, with the intrinsic energy of the artist, leading the viewer’s mind to the imagination that surpasses the mind of an ordinary person, making the viewer feel the happiness, happiness when straying into the fantasy world, the author’s mind.

With the “Head of Woman”  of Picasso, I was completely convinced by Picasso’s imaginative world, I felt the softness, personality, and attractiveness of a woman – an attractive, seductive woman as soon as she felt sad. looks mutated,  rough and see the roughness of time crawling through her face. I completely forgot the beautiful face of Oliver, in my mind, I still exist and obsessed with the image of a distorted woman’s head, but no less attractive, her face feels so sad. , but a charismatic face – can only be a “woman” of Picasso.

“The artist must have something in his mind to say, because his task is not  only to tame form, but also to adapt appropriately between form and content” – Kandinsky – The inner voice will tell the artist what form he has to use and where to find it.

“If you put a piece of a mirror close to a real picture, it will definitely be blurred by the breath of life. Because that picture is alive. ”- Pablo Picasso

(sculpture “Love storm” – Sculptor. Tạ Quang Bạo)

Art must have thought, if there is no thought, it is just decorative art” – Sculptor Ta Quang Bao

The core of artistic value in a artwork, they are connected from the rhetoric of shaping to the rhetoric of artist’s mind himself.

And the creative consciousness of himself of an artist creates the core values of a work of art.
