Launching Lunet Art Gallery with exhibtion “Son Ta Voc Viet”
The birth of Lunet Art is an art organization operating as non-profit social enterprise, with its main activities: Art exhibitions, curated art, art training, development and artistic patronage. With the desire to build and introduce art to the public in a professional manner, as a way of supporting, encouraging the artists, create a development corridor for them.
Lunet Art Galerie is an exhibition gallery and was launched in October 2019, acquiring and developing traditional lacquer art, Lunet Art chooses lacquer art as its main strength.
Therefore, the opening of Lunet Art Gallery will display an exhibition of works by four artists: Nguyen Huy Hoang, Nguyen Quoc Huy, Trinh Quoc Chien, Tran Tuan Long – are the talented artists of contemporary art in Vietnam. In 90s of the 20th century, they were young artists, with the passion on lacquer, their works had won lots of prestigious awards, both domestically and internationally. Until now, they still are true artists with extreme passion on lacquer to create great artworks.
Lunet art galerie’s exhibition encompasses artworks with great artistic value by these artists. Each works is a different story, viewpoint, feeling and perspective of the world of each artists.
Artist Nguyen Huy Hoang- an ingenious creative artist, his works not only towards classical academy, but each works also a historical sediment, cutulral treasure of vietnamese ethnic groups.
Painter Nguyen Quoc Huy- the one who find weaknessess. With creative exploration, he turned rough materials of lacquer into soft dreamy of “fairy domain”. His works are wild, wild like clouds, the story of whispering leaves in the wind that tells thousands years of civilized history, the story of banyan trees that has witnessed many ups and downs of history. I can be said that, he proves to the art international community that lacquer is the best art material, not only deep, sharp but also dreamy, flying like cloud.
Artist Trinh Quoc Chien- a mysterious man. His practice displays in each work isn’t simple as a plane, not only a layout of shapes and colors but each work also require audience to have enough tranquility to feel. A four-dimensional, not only three-dimensional, adding a dimension of Time, which he cleverly minimizes in his works. An imaginative mindset is simple to subtlety and tangible with only cubic arrangements that retain a whole treasure of humanistic doctrine with the spirit of Truthfulness- Good- beautiful.
Painter Tran Tuan Long – “Golden fire on fabric”. One of his typical works is the work of the mother worship. He was the one who set fire to the resounding fire of Vietnamese culture on the fabric. Each painting is a part of a great work that is still being developed, proof works with brilliant images of copper prices, burning beliefs, and the tenacious spirit of the Vietnamese people that are transmited in a close way to traditional culture. With his talent, from the fabric, the golden fire of the nation burned.
The Lunet Art galerie’s exhibition introduced to the community encompasses special lacquer artworks with desire to prove true art value on the path of building Vietnamese stature.
