“Each artwork is an independent living entity, Every authentic art work is born by a true artist.”
Luneta Phan
With Lunet Art, since the birth of each work of art – they have separated from the creative artist to become an independent entity, a living entity – in their own artistic life.
The reason why each work of art is a living entity because, they are not only inanimate ordinary objects but also it has emotions, has a “relationship” with the people who enjoy and possess it, they have mental breath.
“If you put a piece of a mirror close to a real picture, it will definitely be blurred by the breath of life. Because that picture is alive. ”- Pablo Picasso
Through the propaganda “Treasures of precious people”, a valuable work, it carved itself to peace with the person who deserves it. Each artwork maybe lost somewhere in the material life, sometimes as a Thuy Kieu (*) to meet the “soul mate” is predestined.
The harmony and connection of the artwork with the artist
Artwork is not created unconsciously as well as it cannot be a consumer product, they are created to serve the development and sublimation of human emotions.
Art works are languages that express the artist’s mind, they express their ideas in the most real way in artistic language. This language can be either symbolic or descriptive or iconic, etc, but no matter what language it is, it must illustrate the truthfulness – authenticity of the thought of the artist who created it. By freedom of expression, the artist uses his language to compose.
However, unlimited freedom must be based on basis of inner necessity – the core value that Lunet Art chooses as its core is truthfulness.
Truthfulness in a work of art – is the truest expression of the inner person of the artist, the desire, the thinking, the imagination, … the artistic consciousness of the artist is expressed for himself, a the most authentic way. In other words, the artist has to face himself and thereby compose his work.
It is not only an artistic principle but it is also a core value in life. This principle is a sharp knife – two blades, if not skillful it can kill the imagination of the artist but can also deceive the feeling of so many people about the REAL value of artwork and thought in it.
If there is not the artistic instinct, there will never have way to make art. If we don’t pay the price for life, we always want to enjoy rich it, we will never have gone to the art.
“The artist is not a child born in luxury life: he does not have the right to live irresponsibly, he has hard work to do, and it often becomes his misery. He must know that every action, emotion, and thought of his will make the material which is inaccessible, but certainly from that, forms his works, and that is why he is not free in life, but only in art”- Kandinsky.
The artist, he is not only the king in his creative world, but he is also the hero to save the spirit of the work and also the mother to give birth to a child – “artwork” was born.
It can be said that a work of art always reaches to the value of aesthetics, that is, to beauty. The beauty is proportional to the desire inside the artist’s soul, which is the expression of the soul, the thought within the artist.
Maeterlinhck said that:
“Nothing on this earth which wants more beauty and makes itself beautiful is easier than… the soul. Therefore, there are very few souls on this earth which can resist it by the very soul that gives itself to beauty.”
An artwork born by an artist’s soul longing for beauty cannot resist its inherent beauty – that beauty is brought in mind by the artist’s mind.
“In particular with art, I put a problem that, art must have thought, if there is no thought, it is just decorative art. Hence, I always cultivate a sense of society and art to make the two of them stick together into one”- Sculptor Ta Quang Bao
