Lunet Art Galerie has had the pleasure to welcome children visited and viewed the artworks in our exhibtion “Son Ta Voc Viet”. All the children were excited because this was the first time they knew what a visit to an art exhibition looked like, to observe an artwork and gaze at varied art styles, varied colours.
Most of them showed interest in the work “The great mother” by painter Trinh Quoc Chien, especially after being explained about the deep meaning of the artwork, about the significant beauty of the mother who is willing to suffer pain and torment to give birth to handsome, intelligent children. The children were also attracted by the trilogy “Sound in silence”. After listening to the explanation of the painting, the students were very attentive to the sounds and feel of the colors in the pictures. Many children are interested in “drawing what sound we hear and see what color it is” and promised to go home to draw their own picture.
