It can be said that it is one of the large-scale exhibition, attracting the attention of many artists, the public and especially famous collectors at home and abroad.
The exhibition “Son Ta Voc Viet” is the exhibition only introducing lacquer painting lines and the painters only use lacquer to express their works. This exhibition is on a large scale not only in fame of the artists but also the size of artworks. The large format lacquer paintings is usually not easy to work due to many factors specific in lacquer field.
The four artists are all have theirs own personalities. This helps the connoisseur of paintings easy to spot. Artist Nguyen Huy Hoang with the series of “Thanh dia Cham” and some other paintings is extraordinarily impressive. Artist Nguyen Quoc Huy is mildly fanciful with paintings depicting ancient trees. Painter Trinh Quoc Chien urged people to search for alternative feelings in each pieces of color. As for Tran Tuan Long is lethargic in the series of works attached to the spiritual belief of Hau Dong.
The exhibition “Son Ta Voc Viet” is held for 1 month starting from 18th October, 2019.
